"The Castle" in BBS Volume Two - ~Spoilers~

So today I want to go a different route than you've probably ever gone before. Limeface and I were texting earlier and we got to talking about the castle we seen in Birth by Sleep Final Mix's secret video. I want to show you the conversation we had and would ask if you have an opinion to please tell us about it in the comments.

Me: What if [BBS] Volume 2 is like Chain of Memories where you just revisit the same worlds?

LF: That would be lame but I'm guessing it will be Aqua's time in the Realm of Darkness. But maybe its also Xehanort's time as Ansem's apprentice

Me: How boring of a game would it be if you were only in the Dark Realm? There's gotta be some kind of worlds. I'm think the castle is an illusion type thing

LF: Maybe there is someone like an old Keyblade Master in the castle?

Me: Maybe. But the castle will have to have Disney in it somehow, otherwise everybody would be pretty peeved

LF: Of course. But I don't know what Disney could be in the castle

Me: That's because we don't know what the castle is. It could do world illusions like in Castle Oblivion

LF: I can see that, or maybe its a gateway to the real worlds but your still in the Realm of Darkness

Me: Its probably huge on the inside. Castle Oblivion looked tiny on the outside, but is incredibly massive [inside]

LF: Maybe its a world lost to darkness. I'm so confused

Me: Me too. Its Oswald's castle!?

So how about you guys? What do you think it is? Please tell us, just know that you don't need to register to leave comments.

Thanks for reading!

The Realm of Darkness

*Some Spoilers*
-The Realm of Darkness is the home of Kingdom Hearts and the pure blood Heartless.
-Sora, Donald and Goofy fought and defeated Ansem Seeker of Darkness in the Dark Realm in Kingdom Hearts I.

-The Organization, Nobodies, and Heartless use Dark Corridors which are gateways through the Realm of Darkness to travel around. They're the fastest way to get between worlds, but people who over use them like Master Xehanort, show physical effects, darkend skin and amber eyes.
-Nobodies, Heartless, the Organization, and Princesses of Hearts show no effect when traveling through darkness.
-Sora and Riku find themselves in the Realm of Darkness at the end of KHII. They arrive to the Dark Margin which is the tip of a world or the boundary between Darkness and In Between.
-Ansem the Wise arrives in the Dark Margin more than once and meets Aqua.
Aqua came to the Dark Realm after saving Terra from decending to darkness.
-Aqua meets Ansem the wise in the Dark realm where he tells her there is still hope.
What we don't know about the Dark Realm is what Aqua did before she met Ansem. All we know is she found this castle. Only time will tell.

Light and Dark Keyblades

First read this little excerpt from Xehanort Report #6:

"Dark keyblades exist in the world of darkness and are in opposition to
the keyblades of light that we use, the only difference is from which
side of the world they come from."

This says that to every keyblade of light, a keyblade is darkness is made in the dark realm.

Now look at this screenshot from KH2:

The "He" that Yen Sid is talking about is Mickey and the dark realm's keyblade is the Kingdom Key D, which, as we know, is the opposite of Sora's Kingdom Key, which are both shown below.

So what I got to thinking was that in order to lock the door to Kingdom Hearts, or maybe even to open it, like they do in Kingdom Hearts 2, you need the keyblade born of light and the keyblade born of darkness, like these two are.

What do you think? Whatever you've got to say, post in the comments. Make sure to come back tomorrow for another thought provoking article AND go vote in the pole! Thanks for readin'!

Yen Sid's Library

Are you ever curious about what's happening in the Kingdom Hearts universe? Have you ever read people's opinions on Kingdom Hearts and they've never made any sense to you? Do you want to be entertained while learning things about Kingdom Hearts that you never knew before?

If you have answered a "positive" to any or all of these questions, then this is the place for you, you awesome little KH fan!

To start out, I want to tell you about me and why you should listen to anything I have to say. I have been a Kingdom Hearts fan from just about day one. Being a fan for such a long time has given me ample opportunity to study and think about the intricate ins and outs of this beloved video game series. Along with a few of my friends who are also KH fans, I talked and theorized about the upcoming games and what further details they would give us that would allow us to figure out what we want and need to know about the series.

So from there I decided to look on the interwebs for any help or support from other members of the KH community in the validity of my ideas and I have yet to find anything. This is why I, and my friend, who will be writing up here sometime soon, decided to create this video game blog.

We will give you our theories and ideas with evidence to support them. We hope that when we do this it will allow you to formulate and theorize for yourself and you too may understand Kingdom Hearts.

So starting tomorrow either Limeface or I will post something relevant to Kingdom Hearts and possibly jog your video-game-playing mind.

Make sure to check back here daily and vote in our poll on the right side of the screen. Thanks for reading this!
